About FreeTools99
FreeTools99 is a small collection of free tools for everyday money, business and text jobs: invoices, tax and loan calculators, QR codes, text utilities and more. We built it because too many "free" tools ask for an account before showing a result, watermark a PDF, or quietly upload what you type.
How the tools work
- Everything runs in your browser. The pages are plain HTML and JavaScript. Calculations, QR codes, image compression and invoices all happen on your device.
- Nothing is uploaded. The server only sends you the page. Some tools remember your last inputs in your browser's local storage so you don't retype them; you can clear that at any time.
- Formulas are shown. Each calculator explains the formula it uses and includes a worked example you can check by hand.
How tax and finance pages are checked
Tax rates and rules change. Each tax page states the rules it applies, links to the official source where one exists, and shows the date it was last reviewed. The Indian income-tax and GST pages share their research with our sister site easylancing, a compliance app for Indian freelancers paid from abroad, where every fact is labelled with its source.
The results are general information, not tax, legal or financial advice. For decisions that matter, check them with a qualified professional, such as a chartered accountant or tax adviser in your country.
